will a 81 fairmont water pump fit

i have a 67 mustang 200 in my wifes 63 comet. i think her pump is going. i am putting a/c in it soon and want to put in a waterpump that can handle the extra load. will a 200 waterpump from a 81 fairmont fit on this block with no problems. thanks for any suggestions

Howdy back Tony:

Yes, the '81 Fairmont water pump will bolt on. However, it may have a longer shaft. '67 200s did come with AC and there is a short shaft waterpump with AC available for that year.

thank you so much i work for autozone and the fairmont pump is $10 cheaper i will compare mine to the new one
