Will a future C4 upgrade interfere with my exhaust?

I am not far from hooking up my new exhaust system from my FSPP headers (dual outs). I am also hoping to swap in a C4 in the not to distant future (when I find one). How much different in shape and size is the C4 vs the Ford-O? Will I have interference problems with my headers (they are very close to the tranny now...practicaly touching the dipstick tube) or the exhaust runs? I don't want to have the pipes run only to have to redo them once I get the C4 if I can plan now and have the pipe altered accordingly.

Thanks as always.

I have a 1968 C4 in my 1965 coupe. There are several inches of clearance between the header and the transmission body. The engine is a 200ci, also from 1968. Here is a link to my albums. Click on the New Exhaust Pics album. The pictures in there are not great but it is the best I can do.

Also...

If you look hard enough in this picture you can see the transmission dipstick. It is out of the way of the header. The header does not even come close to it.

Sould not be a problem Bryce, sorry about the oil it's from before I ditched the chrome cover.

You might have to play around with the emergency brake mount point
as the C4 mount is different.

I also have the Pacemakers, though they had to be heated and bent to fit around the lowmount starter. Mike was so good to me, we tried four different sets. He used the custom bent set to help design his new one and got mine Jet Hot coated. Thanks Mike!

I have a pre-FSPP existence Clifford dual out header (see things have gotten better for the rest of 'ya ) and the tubes are run basically the same as Okee's Comet but without downpipe flanges. Instead, mine separate at the collectors. My mufflers are located in the same pocket as Okee's.
