Well I just picked up a '75 250 with a c4 behind it. It came out of a Maverick. The engine is going to be swapped into my early bronco, and the transmission/bellhousing is going to be sold or bartered away for a flywheel, clutch and manual bellhousing. At any rate my questions concern all the extra wiring and vacuum lines and smog equipment etc. There was no carb with this engine so right there I have some vacuum lines that are going to nothing. Then there are others that are unhooked, torn off, etc. I assume some of the extra wiring/vacuum lines are for the c4. I am switching to an np435 so I won't need any of those. The problem is in identifying what used to go where.

Are there any online diagrams for the '75 engine? I know autozone has a lot of online diagrams (I have used them for my EB), but when I looked up the '75 Maverick, it said they had not yet posted them. I've also got electrical wires that I do not recognize. The '66 EB has the 170 right now but there is not as much electrical stuff on it, so it's not helping with identification much. Also this 250 has all kinds of extra doo-dads and widgets attached to it that I would like to be able to identify.

I'm going to post some more questions tomorrow, but for now I would just like to see some diagrams to know what I'm working with.

Well, you know,,,, when I asked that question I had literally exhausted all my knowledge of web searching. So I thought to myself, after spending a reasonable amount of time trying to find this info on my own, I'll just ask you guys for help. Then wouldn't you know, after I posted this question and, just about the time I'm getting ready to get off the computer, I stumble accross a website that has exactly what I'm looking for. All the diagrams I could want. Anyway the website is http://www.maverickcomet.com for any of you that might also need some of these diagrams.

Anyway, I learn myself a little better, and then if I have any questions they'll be a lot more specific. :D
