OK, I'm lost again. Installed a new Pertronix Ignitor 2 a few weeks ago and everything was great. Finally got the new coil a few days ago and put that in yesterday. Now she won't start. I put the stock replacement coil back in too see if the new one was bad but she still won't start. The ignition and starter will turn but the engine just won't catch. I checked everything from the wires to the rotor in the distributor and everything seems to be fine to my un-trained eye.
I had ordered a Flamethrower 2 coil but they sent a Flamethrower 3. The literature said it is compatable with the Ignitor 2 so I figured I was just getting a better coil for less $. Could the Flamethrower 3 been too much for the Ignitor 2 and I just fried the whole system? ANY ideas are appreciated!
