WTB: 223 Ford motor

looking for a 223 six cylinder in decent running condition to put in my old grain truck. I had a 56, 223 that my grandfather blew a rod in it and am looking for one to replace it with.

Go over to 'FordTruk.com' Think there was a 223 for sale there last week. Go back through the for sale forum, now & then there have been 223 for sale.

There is a 223 & Trans for sale for the last 2 days in the 'for sale' forum at FordTruk.com Guess it depends on where you are and where the item is if it might pan out.

I have a 223 sitting in the garage. It was running 12 yrs ago but burned oil really bad. I think it is pretty much complete. I might have some new gaskets for it too. not sure. I would sell it, but you would need to pick it up here
Also have a complete 3 spd manual xmission for it.
