Sure. But "ground" is out of the question...

This is part of the problem I was hinting at recently. You can go one way or the other (air or sea), but it ends up costing a fortune on small shipments. A head will cost almost as much to ship by air as a 2 cubic yard crate will, to pack and land (not cleared) in the US.

Adam.

On the UPS cost estimate( thanks I hadn't found that) it was for 30kg - is that enough? If I can swing a x-flow it will end up on my 65 Falcon - I would rather have the the EFI head - I like the look of the chamber vs the carb head

The head alone weighs 40 lbs. Add 12 more for the exhaust manifold and 6 or 7 for the intake. 2 lbs for an alloy valve cover. 30kg is probably pretty close with packaging.

Wow, for that much you could dress the head & parts up as a person & get it a seat in a plane to the US ;) However, it may never make it past the metal detector
"Excuse me sir, do you have anything metal on you?"

Yep. Could go get it your ownself...

AD: "Do you have anything metal in your pockets, or do you wear any appliances or prosthetic devices?"
ME: "Yep. That thar's my head."

If shipping costs a few extra bucks but gets it here- I don't have a problem with that . In the whole project you always have a few things that cost more than planned and catch a deal on something else - I have no money in my trans or rear-end so I have a little extra to spend somewhere else.
