Your comments on my upgrades / dyno results added

Next move: I'm in the middle of porting one head and the valves are to be unshroud also. Maybe I'll post some pics of the finished job when it is done.

I'm also having the log grind for a direct 2V adapter, to fit a 350 Holley, 1.14 Autolite or such. If the old valves of the head are good enough they'll have some backcuts and the seats are degreed.

On 3th of August there is another dyno day among our club members, I'll try to get the new head/carb setup done before that. If the valves are rubbish then it is utopy, my machine shop closes for holidays on Friday and there is no chance to have new valves in time.

Question for this next setup: would you recommend to degree the cam? (just had an adjustable timing set delivered here today).

After these mods I'll rebuild the original block with flat-tops, arps, decking, polished rods etc. but that low end job will be reality around september/october.

Added: Later events: the Comp chain set is not adjustable without a degree kit, so that'll be it. Also the valves are gone, I need to buy a new set so I'll let the dyno day go...
