What years did Ford use a removable intake on the head.

Are you talking about the Aussi heads?
For the 144-171-200-250 they all had log heads in the US.

I ment the aus head before they went to cross flow
Start in '60 w/the XK?
I understood the break came in '72 (from XY / to XA) ie model 2.4 to 3.1 kinda idea.
The XY being the last made for the preceeding 2 yrs (starting in '70) and therefore being V E R Y expensive.
The x-flow came in '76 (XC) model 3.3 (till '79).
Alu head '79 XD with a model of 4.1
now we're up to the 7th generation?
