okay...this thread is not for ECUs...but for actually making the MPFI set up for an Aussie head.
Does anyone know of any good reading material, or have ideas on just how I need to go about certain things for making you own MPFI.
Things like:
1) how far can the injectors be from the valves?
2) I know they are supposed to point at the back of the intake valves, but is there a good angle that anyone knows about?
3) Any other general MPFI info.
I'm still debating hacking up another intake manfold versus fabbing up peices that will fit between the manifold and the head that will be AL, and drilled for the injectors. It will allow me to experiment in a less costly manner, and also give the ability to make it an easier add on for other people in the future if I decide to try to market it (or sell the design to AzCoupe ) The only issue will be clearance between the manifold and the shock towers as there is only about 2-2.5" between the two. Unfortunately, that means another set of gaskets between the turbo and the valves.
