Did the original module have grease and were the screws tight? The screws were loose on mine and there wasn't a lick of grease under the module. That made me question DUI's quality control.

Yes, the original module from DUI had insulating grease on the bottom and the screws were tight.

I guess I should pick up a second module to keep as a spare.

Man that isn't good... FWIW, I bought a "lightly used" DUI unit in 2013. It looked like brand new. Anyways... I have been running it since then. Can't tell you exactly how many miles because my speedometer/odometer is broken... But a good 1.5 years of daily driving plus trips from Houston/Lafayette/Fourchon/Venice... Never let me down.

Hope your experience with it gets better, although... I am considering an MSD system for mine.
