More recently I got a lathe to compliment the mill. These are 1''-14 thread nuts with 1-7/16'' head and large flange with o-ring.
I made these to replace the 2-thread thin lenco shift tower jam nut, that would work loose. Stock nuts where 1-1/2'' no flange and these have a 1 5/8'' dia. flange for more stability.
The other is a 1/2'' pipe plug with o-ring that has been lightened. O-ring makes for a better seal than just the tapered threads. Less mess no sealer. Trans takes 7 plugs.
