Something that I was curious about though, is it possible for you to index your carb hat 180* and bring the tubing around the bank side of the motor. It looks like it'd be a shorter, simpler run. It does depend on the space available though.

I have to cut o hole in the bracket were the waterpump usually goes and fit a water neck like the top radiator hose has.
