66 Tang Stang,

Yup, you got the list of hardware figured out pretty well.

Stay with the 350cfm. Carb choice is a place where the Bigger is Better rule just DOESN'T WORK. 500 cfm is too BIG if you don't have a fully modified engine. The reason we use Autolite two-barrels is 'cause the come in a little bit smaller CFM sizes. I use an Autolite 1.08 (287cfm) because the only modifications I have are a 9.8:1 compression, Clifford Cam, headers, dual exhaust, over-sized valves, DuraSpark ignition.

Inliner also make a two barrel adapter, but it is not application specific for Ford like the Clifford is. It is, however, 1/2 the price.

For linkage, most use a cable setup. My brother took his from a 75- 76 Maverick complete with the cable. I used a pedal from SpeedWay Motors and a bicycle rear brake cable. You'll probably have to fabricate something - there is no "bolt-on".

good Luck,

On the linkage, you could have a spare week and rig up a bellcrank linkage like I did on my 5200. Don't know how this would work on the other 2-bbls. At the time I did mine, I had more time than $, but it has done well with a years worth of driving on it and no problems so far.

Just so there's no confusion, I think Dennis meant to say Stovebolt instead of Inliner as to a source for the other 2-bbl adapter.
