170 up-grades

Now that I have IDed my block & head as a 170 ci engine, what simple mods. can I give this little power house to help performance & looks.I am currently awaiting arrival of the Falcon Performance Handbook.

Does simple mean cheap, or not technical as some people get into?

not looking to get to technical , maybe change to duraspark ignition, carb,and dual outlet headers and dress out with some chrome.May do some tech. stuff later when I learn more.
