1963 200 Engine

Hey i was in the junkyard today with my gramps and we were looking for a 250 heard or 200 head to cut up and make a 3 bbl setup. We found a Falcon im not sure what year but it looked like a 64. I popped the hood looked at the engine and it looked like is was pretty new it might of been rebuilt who knows. It has ahigh mount starter a 5 frost plugs so its a 200 but the manifold read D3..... So the ingine is form 63. Does that mean it has 4 main bereings? The guy wants 250 for the whole motor. What do you guys think whats the compression on that engine you think?

D3 is 1973.. C3 is 1963

whoops sorry about that I meant 73. The smog stuff on that is that just to the carb or to the block? Is it still a good motor if itook that stuff off?
