2 barrel carb and DUI Distributor

So I want to add a 2 barrel carb to my stock 75 250 I6. I'm looking at the 30/36 weber carbs on the classic inline site. But I know that you have to swap out the dizzy as well, and I wanted to go with the DUI as it has the most gains and is a simple hookup. but I'm getting confused with all the "vacuum" talk. If I wanted to go about doing this, how would it go?
 
actually you dont have to swap out your distributor. in your case you have teh later model dual advance distributor and not the older load o matic, so swap carbs when ever you are ready. i do however recommend that you use the 38/38 weber instead.
