200-250 engine code?

My manager at work seems to have an engine laying in his garage that he pulled from a 67 mustang. It was originaly from a maverick ( he thinks) I'm thinking about it for my falcon ( for $150 I guess you can't go wrong)

Engine code on the block is D7-BE

D7 makes it a 77, meaning it probably is from a maverick, but what do the other letters mean?

He hasn't checked to see if it has an integral intake or seperate, which would distinguish the 200 from the 250.

All the 170, 200 and 250 motors have the integral intake. Only the 240 and 300 motors have the removeable intake.

The 200 has a 3 bolt water pump, the 250 has 4.

The third symbol cannot be a "B". Most likely it is a "D".
