200 firing order

ok i feel like a complete moron but i was changing the plugs and wires and i think i have one swapped... so how to figure out which wires go where so i can double check it before actually trying to run it???

its the 66 200ci...

ok i see the firing order but i dont remember if its 1-6 from the front, and which way the dizzy spins...

i'd rather ask before running it misfiring...

Number 1 is in the front.

I'm pretty sure the distributor turn clockwise.

Is it stamped on the inlet manifold as <Firing order 153624>
Some one correct me if I am wrong but that is what is on mine.

I like to pull the cap and bump the starter to check distributor rotation. I have some GM V-8's that rotate different dirrections depending on the model. I don't trust my memory.

. yupp. some marine engines spin distributor backwards. even some fords.

yep. got it. i think my main issue was do you count from the front or back, and the dizzy rotation. but anyhow thanks guys

and the plugs...were fried. runs 48485 times better
