Hello guys,
First real post after introducing myself 6months ago. (post already has been deleted)
My name is Johan, 21 years old, kinda newbie at cars but I learn fast.
I got a complete stock mustang 1967 coupe with a 200ci engine and a 3 speed automatic.
The car badly needed a paintjob and some bodywork, this is happening as we speak and will be done in a week or 2-3.
So now I'm getting to the next fase what to do engine wise..?
I need some options on what to do.
different intake for carburator 1 barrel -> 2 barrel
Headers? 6>1 or 6>2
Brakes?
rear end?
transmission?
At first I just wanted a dual exhaust to gain some flow and a few extra hp's
But I'm one of those guys that thinks about doing some lil adjustments but always end up go big or go home.
That's why a turbo came to mind.
Keeping in mind that I'm a newbie I need a to do/get list.
I want to keep it all stock if that is a option.
What will break first if I do this? the transmission? the rear?
The stock parts should be able to take that lil extra power right?
Is a exhaust header 6-1 -> then a turbo the best option?
Or a stock manifold with a J-pipe curv like this a good way to start it off: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/ ... 8f6cea.jpg
Those are all questions going through my head, to filter some out:
Is turboing a stock 200ci with everything else stock on the car too doable without destroying it right away?
What and which things do I really need to do/get for this?
Is this worth it?
If this is not a good option what else is?
Greetings from the Netherlands,
Johan
