Hi all. Does anyone know what these two bolts are for? They are located between 3 & 4 on the 2V head. The ones on my head are have a rusty look and perhaps leak?? I am wondering if they they open to the water jacket, or are they anything important. Do I leave them alone and not mess with them, or try and take them out, clean them up and put them back. They look pretty fragile, and knowing my luck will break off. The tapping for them appears to go right through to the exhaust, which made me think probably not connected to the water jacket??

Any clues or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

They're the wastegate... :P

In the original setup, there was a thermal choke heating coil run through the centre exhaust opening. Your bolts have been threaded into where its tubes were swaged.

Thanks for that info Addo. They can just stay in there forever now.
