i got a new toy an old tc with a 250 log engine.
now these are the specs i know of.
had 5g rebuild min, was built for methnol, has double valve spring, standerd rocker gear, head was supose to of cost $$$ and was sent to south australia to be built had a look the manifold hasent been machined off but exhaust could be worked.
big cam unknow specs needs 1200rpm to idle.
i think it use to be reved to 6000rpm.
will the rocker gear take it? as the crank rods etc will same as crossflow.
i might have a 2v head lined up mabey that needs valves can you get stainless valves in aus? and what whould the recomended work be.
also when i took a look at the rocker gear whould getting a set of roller tiped rockers be as good as roller rockers as i think they whould be?
how to tell if it has a soild cam or not as well since i have to take the head off to remove the lifters.
