i am looking into getting a hold of a 250 soon and would like to know how hard would it be to swap my 200 out of my 1966 mustang with a 3 speed tranny, and i also have the pacemaker headers on the 200 right now. And also will the new aluminum head coming out soon fit the 250? any help is much appreciated.

8) you might have a bit of a hood clearance issue as the 250 is 2" taller than the 200, though there are a few tricks you can use the mitigate that difference, like drilling new holes in the engine mounts an inch higher to lower the engine the same anount. you will need to change bellhousings as the 250 uses the same bell as the 302 does. you may have to change the trans as well if you have the 2.77 3spd. when you change the bell, get the same trans that bolted to the bellhousing as well. you should get the output yoke that goes with the trans also.
