2v head worth it?

just the log head. the classic inlines head is the only other head readily available and its more expensive. there is an argentinian head, but ive never actually seen one and dont know how much they cost. i was never too interested in it.

If that Ebay head came with the manifold, and was $750 BIN, it might just about be worth it. But presently, there are more original heads than manifolds around (not sure quite why).

Not to hijack the thread of is it worth. But, I have an extra one with manifold I was thinking about selling. PM if intersted.

As for the is it worth it? Meaning spending the that kind of money or adding a Oz 250 head?

If you read enough of the threads you will find that yes adding a OZ 250 head is worth it. My dyno charts prove it. But, you can do other things such as Geezer.

As for the money aspect it depends on your budget. I am not sure what the current value is of a OZ head. They used to go for $500 many years ago. Since they are getting so rare probably more if it includes the intake. As stated there is always the new Aluminum head!

Finding myself in such a situation (OZ head & a tore up intake) I can say why... guys are modifying the 2v intake and doing a terrible job hogging out material and welding on adapters for 4v carbs. Basically the cobbled up mod has made the intake useless. I'm either gonna buy an intake from classic inlines or make a custom one if I decide to try MPFI.
