Alright, a few questions about a turbo. What type of turbo should i buy? I can get a turbo off of a conquest TSI, but i dont know if it will be big enough. Should i intercool it? And If i intercool it it would seem easier because of the stock intake body that im using. Can anyone shed some light on this subject for me?

Please read the FAQ at the top of this thread.
It should get you started.

Step 1 - Determine how much air you engine needs and at how much boost.
Step 2 - get a map for the conquest turbo
Step 3 - is it a good match?

That turbo is way too small. A turbo from a ..what, 2.2 liter? will be way too small for a 4.9 liter.

INTERCOOLERS - Do I need one or not? What size?

The old rule of thumb used to be anything over 10 psi needed an intercooler, but that isn't true for everybody. I honestly believe that the cooler you can get the air going into the engine, the better the car will perform.

Hello

I have heard that Ak Miller used: TO4B part #409900-5001, .60 A/R compressor, .81 A/R turbine, V1 & P trim housing. "Maximum Boost" and "Turbocharging" are two books to own, each have their merits. Consider blow-through propane if it is readily available to you.

Regards and good luck

Damn, I didn't pay attention to the E.F.I. factor in my previous post. I had considered the same thing but decided that getting the electronic aspect (computer and program) figured out would take a lot of p!ss!ng around, propane is much more forgiving and fixable (my opinion)

Best wishes
