I think you would spend far less $$ and headache if you just picked up a head from
Oz
or
Argentina
And to answer your other thread 4bl carb???
There is a user on here "Mustangaroo" who is putting a 4bbl manifold on his sons Oz headed 200, we have yet to hear results. (but im waiting patiently)
The 14/170/200/250 and the 240/300 are completely different engines which share no common dimensions. There is no way to fit a big block head on a small block
Ron,
Should have it installed in about a week and then dyno it the week after!
The Aussie 4v intake needed some grinding to improve the looks, the welds were a little rough, good welds but too much material, which needed to be removed. We don't know which Holley 4v we'll use yet, either a 650 cfm (I think it is too big) or a 450-500 cfm 4v will be used. Linkage is no problem as it will remain the same, we just have to relocate the direction of the throttle cable. As usual we will post pictures of it installed and report the performance and dyno results.....
This "IS NOT" a picture of Little Roo's intake, but it should look just as good when we're finished grinding and polishing. Just posting this one so that those that havn't seen a Aussie 4v intake know what we are talking about!
