Has anyone got a four barrel manifold for a cast iron crossflow that they are willing to part with at a reasonable price?
Please let me know Im after one.

Note: was going to put this in the wanted section but is Aussiesixes specific and I thought it would get more circulation here.
Thanks Tim

Found one thanks to a member of the forum who gave me a good tip off. Its a Cain 4bbl im not familiar with that brand. Does it differ from a redline 4bbl at all? Anybody know where its made?

John Cain (not the former Victorian Premier) is from Newcastle. These were offered when the motors were new and current. Not sure if they were local or Asian castings. He used to sell a lot of no-name chrome goodies, too. BTW, "Cainy" swears like a trooper once he drops his guard.

Got it in mail yesterday and am pleased with it but has huge plenum chamber (about 20mm wider than the 4 bbls and approx 65mm deep). Thought I might fill it a bit. Also noticed that when fitted on engine that the plenum chamber where the carb mounts is approx 9mm out of level from front to back of plenum, the front being the lowest.
I assume this is so the air cleaner follows the downward contour of the bonnet but it still seems a bit extreme. I was a bit dissapointed that I could only fit a 2" by 9" air cleaner on it. Ill probably have to invest in one of the K&N high flow cotton re-usable filters.
Cheers.
