I guess I havent graced you all properly, Hey all, and thanks for the board and info. I helped a few people here already, and have my own set of questions...

This is kind of a follow up to a question I had about my 62 Falcon. I was trying to determine if someone did an engine swap somewhere down the road, and changed it from a 170 to a 200.

Well I got a suggestion about freezed plugs, after asking the first time about the possible swap. Someone had suggested that it was a 200 IF it had 5 freeze plugs on the passengers side.

Well, it does! Id be happy to confirm that its a 200, even though Im running a 1 bbl on it for now. I still plan to put my Offy tri carb manifold on sometime down the road, but God, do I hate that 2 speed auto. I have a 3 spd column, and I also have a T 5 from a previous car.

I may have some plans, since I fixed it up to stock w/head machining and head gasket mid last year after getting the car. Im just weighing my options on the T5 swap and the offy tri carb, and making plans for now.

So, to the informed and knowledgeable parties here, 5 freeze plugs=200? Am I right, Id be really happy.

Thanks all,

Joe
