Anyone know if the exhaust system for a 1968 6 cylinder car will fit into a '66?
I have an exhaust manifold from a later engine with the larger outlet. I see the '68 system is 2" with an in-line muffler instead of the 1 3/4" pipes and cross-ways mounted muffler in the '66 cars. That would allow me to substitute the stock (for '68 ), in-line muffler with a glasspack.
Custom system is expensive and money is a concern right now.
