68 Exhuast

I have a 68 200ci and it was restored it to stock last year. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for an exhuast system and where to possibly order one. Im not interested in headers or anything like that just something with a decent sound. Thanks

they don't make "kit" exhausts for the I6's as far as I know.

most Muffler places can bend one up for you fairly cheap, or you can make your own and have the muffler place weld it up.

A lot of user's here like the "bullet" or cherry bomb type turbo mufflers.

If a stock 200, I would stay with a 2" pipe diameter.

Mac's and Dearborn both carry exhausts for the I6 (at least for the Falcons they do!)

Went with the 2" set up, oval muffler in front of the tank, and a chrome tip.
Nice low pitch rumble, not too loud...

It cost me $250 in San Francisco which included the stainless steel tip. Might be less $ in other parts of the country.
