7.8 Compression ratio piston

Does anyone think that a set of heavy duty 300 pistons at 7.8 CR would work well for a turbo app. Im mainly looking at piston design for good flow and combustion characteristics. i have never actually sen the heads of these pistons and was wondering if they would bea good or poor design...obviously the low CR would be somewhat helpful for higher boost, but if the pistyon is made more for heavy dudty low RPM and would not make a good performance piston, then i wouldnt watn to get a set.

Like i said, ive never seen how these pistons are shaped, so im seeing if anyoneelse has.

I really don't think you should have to much concern about piston shape, as it is probably a simple dish design.

Make sure you get forged if you plan on more than 6-8 psi of boost.
