Acceerator cable help info request

I've been using a cable accel pedal setup from a '71 Maverick six. It just snapped and I want to replace it. Anybody know of application that will work - maybe later Ford ?. I really need just the replacement cable. NAPA can't find application that old but may be same as later model.


How about aftermarket- Summit type vendor ? Anybody recommend throttle/accel setup.

A Fairmont/Zephyr cable might work. Or maybe a Granada/Monarch.

You can buy bulk replacement cable and clips at your local hardware store if the cable sheath is fine.

I've done it more than once!
