Take your Chebby I6 w/ it's Rotten-Chester 1bbl carb out of here!! ;) ;)

You might not have the best luck getting info here, this is a Ford-based website. Try inliners.org.

I did drive a ’67 Impala 4-door for a while. It had a 250 I6 w/ 2-speed automatic. It was my great grandmothers that she had bought new. She stopped driving at the age of ’98, then we took it. It was sold to a kid who was going to drive it to California. I had been driving it daily without incident. This kid had it for 1 day and the front right king pin sheared off the spindle as he was turning a corner, supposedly caused by a seized bearing. We handed back his check and told him to keep the car. Never heard from him again, thankfully.
