Adjustable rockers or not?

I dropped my head off to be milled and the valves 3 angle cut. The man doing the work suggested getting an adjustable rocker assembly from a 170. He said it would improve tunability as well as add to the life of the head. I tried the search and can't find anything definate.(if there is such a thing) Do those of you running adjustable rocker assemblies think they are that much better and why? I am putting the head on my 74 Bronco that has a duraspark II and a weber 32/36 on it now. I will also probably add a header when the head goes on too. Thanks
Steve

Yes there are adjustable rockers with the 170 and 144 heads, they used solid lifters. But an adjustable rocker is good for our hydraulic lifters as well---especially after milling. Mike sells rebuilt ones at a really good price.

With wear you can readjust the rockers and compensate for it.

If you haven't been, you gotta go-------> www.classicinlines.com

goto products. look under valvetrain and then rocker assemblies, it's a great deal with your core.
