Adusting the throttle kick-down cable / Holley 5200 Issue

Im thinking of upgrading from the Autolite 1100 to the Holley 5200. I've read that after installing the 5200, if you have an automatic tranny, you have to adjust the throttle kick down cable ??.. it's possible that at wide open throttle the cable wont engage. Has this been an issue with anyone making this upgrade?.. What exactly needs to be done / what adjustment needs to be made, and how. Also , for the electric choke, do you just run a connection to the alternator ?

the chooke wire goes to a ignitin hot...like the coil/duraspark
