Alloy Valve Covers

just took a couple days, but that was mostly waiting for the paint to dry
just paint it one color, let that one dry completely, use some masking tape to mask off the letters and and exacto knife to cut away the excess tape
hit it with the other color and let that dry, then peel the tape away

that's a basic way to do it, gotta sand it down and prep it first, but after that you're good

Mike ;

Sounds Good

As mentioned ; Ford will want a license fee if you use the word Ford.

Our press molds for cast aluminum tranny pans have removable plates since we build pans with the Ford logo ( for Ford motorsports) & other tranny companies.

Perhaps an idea so you can sell cast covers to Aussie companies with their logo? :wink:

It sound's to me like chazthephoenix has a steel valve cover, and I don't see why there would be a problem chroming that.
