I have a 68 Mustang 200. The previous owner added an aftermarket AC Unit to the car and in doing so used this god awfull, HEAVY iron braket to mount it. The problem is, he also eliminated the stock alternator bracket and mounted it to that bracket as well. I am in need of a diagram or some photos of where the CORRECT bracket should be mounted. I have on on order and it should be here this week.

I took the compressor and blower for the ac out. Before the car would run a little rough and lacked power at times. As soon as I took out that compressor it ran smooth and strong. Must have been some resistance somehow.

Any help is appreciated.

well mine is more of an F shape (early motor have no boss on the timing cover) and on that note I think a generic mr gasket bracket will work with new holes drilled if even that.
