Alum Falcon finned valve cover

Nice vintage valve cover, but if you run a pcv valve there is no second port on the valve cover for proper crankcase evacuation.
All these aftermarket valve covers have no baffles to prevent oil from being sucked into the pcv valve.
The only way to fix that problem is mount the pcv valve 4" via a hose above the valve cover & use a baffled rubber adapter at the valve cover.
The only decent pcv baffles are on a factory valve cover. All the rest are just copies of Cliffords cast valve cover.
The other covers look nice, but from a design point do not keep oil off the pcv valve.
On a Chevy if you purchase an A/C delco factory cover they not only have the correct baffles, but have cast dippers to deflect the oil from the oil through pushrods onto the pivot point of the rocker arm.

A port and baffle could certainly be installed and even done well and with that cover it would be worth the effort. I saw that in another thread linked to an ad, is that the same motor? I would think that that cover would be one of the most desirable finned small six covers ever produced. I'm sure there are some Falcon and Falcon Van owners that would give their left nut for that :D
