Its a great set up, especially since there is no room for anything else but that six runner to 65 mm throttle body setup. A proper ages old US Silicon valley EFI CPU with Bosch Injectors solves all the heart ache of Lucas Petrol Rejection or, worse, the US emissions carb system. On an non cross flow I6 it packages easily.

But I can't see how it is not better than hooking the 4.9 EFI set up up to a cut off log head for our 3.3 rides. The early US and Aussie late 70's, early 80's in line I4 and I6 Ford guys pioneered better intake packaging, and the F150 and XE/XF I6 Fords imho looked just as cool. The cheepest I4 and I6 Ford engines had the most progressive efi designs.

On our rides, Ford Australia , there early AIT intake, which was copied with the 1983-1988 Ferrari Testa Rosa/BMW 3.2/3.5 liter style set up, and the 87-97 4.9 Truck 4.9 EFI were just the best systems, with huge throttle bodies and able to make 500 hp turbocharged. The HSC 2.3/2.5 EFI is similar. There is about 4 inches of space over the rocker cover to arc the intake over the engine, making it look 5.0 EFI cool. There non cross flow head also allows the Fox body 2.3 carb turbo exhast and turbo mounting to be used

Especially 73Greenmachines 250 Cortina twin carb intake. As an efi, it would be killer
