Any place make forged connecting rods for the 200?

Any place make forged connecting rods for the 200? I'd prefer not to go with 2.3L pistons, unless I can find some low compression ones (still thinking forced air). The other exception I can think of would be the 2.3L SVO engine. It was turbo so it should have lower compression.

All I6 rods to 1973 are forged.

In 1979 Ford switched to a cast steel rod.

In 1980 Ford switched to a high nodular iron rod

In 1982 Ford switched back to forged steel rod.

What about the pistons? Do they need to be forged or cast? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? The SVO had Forged aluminum pistons.

Maybe I"m getting stuff confused.

basically, I'm looking to source parts to rebuilt the engine for forced air applications.

8) keep the rpm's below 6500 and control detonation and cast pistons work fine.
