Aussie head / exhaust question.

I have the aussie head and plan to install my Clifford dual header, but till I can get the car to an exhaust shop, I am using the stock exhaust. I noticed a lot of the gasket sticking out from between the manifold and the head. Will the stock exhaust manifold work on an Aussie Head? I like the smell of exhaust right now because it means I am a little closer to having her up and running, but I am sure this will be a problem down the road.

You will need to block the upper 3/8" of the centre port, or the leaking gases will potentially erode the machined surface on the head.
