Mike,

Just curious, I think it got deleted, but I was wondering if your gasket making company (the one that is making your exhaust gaskets now) could make a thin, composite head gasket that compresses to .025, like the ones MarkP used to have. I know I'd be interested in getting another one. I have one now, but I know I'll need a rebuild in a few years, so I'd like to see about getting another one.

I'm sure there is other interest if possible. I don't know how hard head gaskets are to make, but just wondering.

I'll see what I can do.

And since the other topic disapeared, here's a pic of the header gaskets again. They are now in stock thanks to ROL and one of our forum members, who happens to work for them. Thanks Chris. :D

For those of you with the OZ heads, I had ROL make up some custom intake gaskets too. They are made of a high density material and are .060 thick, which is about five times thicker than the ones I was importing. As a comparrison, these are like a carb gasket, whereas the previous ones were made of a material similar to the gaskets used for water pumps, t-stats, fuel pump, etc. They offer excellent strenght, durability, and sealing. I just sent Mustangaroo a set, as he was having to cut his own each time he removed the intake manifold. So hopefully he will respond with his opinion on them (be it good or bad).
