Ball and cup pushrods

Hi folks,

I need help in finding a set of ball and cup pushrods, as I am rebuilding my 200 engine. I already have a 1.6 ratio rocker arm that I ordered from Classic Inlines, (http://www.classicinlines.com/proddetai ... D200%2DHRR), but I lack the pushrods. Sadly, I cannot ordere these from Mike for the time being, so I have no other choice but to look for alternatives.

Do you have any advice or recommendation for me as to where I could order a set?

Thanks in advance for your help

Thanks a lot! I googled for the part quite a lot and never thought of checking rock auto, I actually ordered from them in the past. The only potential problem that I foresee is that they carry only 1 size, I still need to measure the required length, hope they fit!

howdy:

Just a thought. With the adjusters and hydraulic lifters you may be just fine with the stock length pushrod. But with the 1.6:1 rockers be sure to turn the engine through a complete rotation to inspect rocker to valve tip contact and clearances. The lifters can compensate for about .125" variance.

I almost hate to mention them, but I think Clifford's is still in business. I dealt with them quite a bit pre-Classic.

Adios, David

Thanks for the tips. I ordered a set from Rockauto, if they prove to be too short, I`ll look for other options. I checked with Clifford`s, they do carry them, but I thought they are a bit expensive, 60$ for a set

Don't always go by price.
One maybe the construction hollow-tubular vs heavy solid pushrods????
