Thought ide drop a pic... modified the base plate to fit the 1 barrel carb. hardcore blingin now!

i have the same thing, it is just on a 4V, but i am going to switch to a cold air intake housing unit soon.

run that engine for about 5-10 minutes, spray down everything with Simple Green
let soak for a bit, then hose off

it'll look worlds better
but back to the task at hand, nice mod

Yeah i know she is dirty.. I have the simple green ready and a big scrubber brush but ive been horribly bussy for the past few days. Itll be mopped up this weekedn for sure

Yessir, it do look cool. I had one of these on a built brand-X small block many years ago until someone pointed out the flimsy foam filer element doesn't really filter anything. Check it out, dirt actually penetrates the foam filter. Once I was "enlightened", I promptly removed it and sold it to some other unsuspecting, umm, 'friend'.

8) Those were not the best choice when they first came out. Attracted dirt like a magnet and one back fire?........good bye foam filter.
