BLOWN CROSSFLOW?

IF IN FACT THE CROSSFLOW CONVERSION WILL NOW BE A REALITY, WHAT WOULD BE SOME OF THE BLOWERS THAT WOULD WORK? I SEE MANY OF THE THUNDERBIRD S.C. BLOWERS ON E-BAY WOULD THESE WORKOUT? OR POSSIBLY THE G.M. BLOWERS?

If Jack's Crossflow Conversion works out (AFAIK he still needs to work out cooling issues and sealing issues), it shouldn't be inconcievable that you could build an unleaded alloy crossflow headed 200 with EFI and twin turbo!!! 8) 8) 8)

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE

NO BOUNDARIES...

I DO HAVE A TURBOCHARGER OFF OF A 4CYL. MUSTANG. BUT I HAVE ALWAYS LOOOKED FORWARD TO A BLOWER. WHAT IS THE MOST PRACTICAL UNIT FOR THIS APPLICATION. THE G.M. BLOWER FROM THE NEWER CARS SEEMS TO BE A GOOD FIT, AND THE FORD S.C. ARE QUITE AFFORDABLE. I NEED TO PICK UP A BOOK ABOUT BLOWERS BUT THEY WILL NOT REALLY COVER THIS SET-UP ANYWAY.

Twin T03 45-50 trim turbos will work Very Well. Single Super 60 will go well aswell, or a smaller 40 trim T04. As for superchargers, I haven't looked into that field, however JD has some pictures of a Supercharged mid-60s Falcon (XP as I recall). I believe a pair of Toyota 4-banger superchargers will wake up some power..

The venerable dukeowindsor, a seven poster form Oz (should be the Wizard of Oz IMO) has this wild "FORD FALCON 1987 XF UTILITY WITH A SUPERCHARGED 4.1 LITRE ENGINE RUNNING ON LPG"

As an American, you could get a few local sourced components and shove a Thunderbird SC supercharger on it, get a propane Impco CA 425 LP Gas carb to feed into the back, and do like this guy. He's the best!!!!
