Brazing port divider

Does anyone know the type of brazing rod to use when welding in the port divider?

I brazed the divider in today with some regular flux coated brazing rod...went well. Just need to have the exhaust surface machined flat. Thanks.

depending on how cleanly do you do the brazing, does it really make a big enough mess to need milling? Couldnt you just use a flat hand file to clean it up?

8) depending on how much filler you use, yes you could use a flat file to smooth out and level the gasket surface, it will however take far more time than you think it will. and consider that most place are going to charge you a nominal fee(perhaps an hour labor), it just isnt worth the time needed to hand file.
