Howdy all.

Got the 170 installed in my 63 Ranchero.

I have a C4 trans on it , and I now realize that I have no kickdown linkage parts for it.

Does anyone have any photos of what it should look like? Where it attaches to the engine? etc...

I am going to be looking for one. But once I figure out exactly what I need, I will post about that in the wanted section.

Thanks!

I had that problem when I installed a C4 on my 61 Ranchero. I couldn't find any mechanical kickdown that would work.
When I switched carbs I had to switch to a cable linkage, so what I finally did was go with a Lokar C4 kickdown cable that I attached to a bracket I welded onto my pedal arm under the dash. The cable is mounted to the firewall and I adjusted it so it engages just about full throttle.
I stole the idea from my 71 Olds Cutlass. This is how the GM Turbo 350 auto trans work.

Email me at glevin@glenlona.com if you want some pics.
