I'm back on the 61 Comet project and going strong. (figures the rain is coming)
250 w/ C4 came out of a 1975 Granada.
2 vac lines at tranny, where do they go? I've always seen one, and it goes to vac off the manifold. One is 1/8" and the other looks like 3/16" or 1/4". Should I 'T' them together and get the vac from the log?

thanks

Tune-up manual shows diagram of vacuum coming from;
intake through some heat valves, then to SDV valve, T'ed at dist, then to a check valve, on to a 95 degree PVS then over to "Trans. Dual Area Diaphram" ????????

Says something about when heat gets to a certian temp, spark and vacuum is regulated.

This EGR stuff blows.
And that wasn't vacuum pun. :lol:

Could one of the lines you see actually be an overflow tube and not a vacuum line? The "L" shaped tube above the servo plate is just a vent and attaches to nothing (on mine at least).

On the other side a vacuum line attaches to the modulator.

Hey Marc, thanks for that picture of the opposite side.
That module that you speak of, has 2 vacuum inlets. One goes to a good strong vac, and the other is part of some EGR thingy.
The question is, do I "T" them together and pull vacuum to both, or plug one and run a vac line to the other?
