Hello,
I saw in one of the old posts that you were developing a set of headers for a Maverick. Have ya'll made any progress on that or do you have a set that will fit the Mav or actually a Comet. Also, where can I get a set of intake manifolds like for the triple SU carbs your running? Did you make those? Being aluminum, if I had an extra intake I guess I could. Oh well, thanks...
Dave

Speedy, aren't the Mavy subframes similar to the pre '66 Falcon in dimensions? Pacemakers Mike has, should fit right up with a 200; not 100% sure on the 250.

Mavs are very similar to the 65-66 Mustang and the headers for a 200 should be no problem. The 250 would be a different matter with the tall deck and low starter.

I have my new headers, and the pacemakers, but both fit high starters only. I'm working on a design for the 250 with a low starter, but it will be a few more months. I can get the Hooker dual outs as well, but not certain of the applications (if they fit low mount starters).

Picking up my new ones on Monday. Only took eight months to get them exactly the way I wanted them, but they are finally done. Primary 1 5/8" Collector 3" Reducers 2 1/4". These are welded to the flange on both sides with full welds, not just tack welded on the outside, like many others. Will post pics of the coated ones shortly.

Well, I'm getting some headers. TazzieTim was thoughtfull enough to send me the set he had. I'm not sure what car he had them on. He had to shorten them a hair to fit in the box. I'm just hosed if they don't fit. I need and wanted a factory exhaust manifold for a 2V. Are they the same as a 250 log manifold?

Hmmm, Interesting. I've never seen a set of headers with a Ford part number on them. They look like they might fit though. Just have to wait and see. I take that back. I guess the mustang comes with a set of shorties. Cool! Thanks Addo.

I think I might cut these to run duals out the back. So do these 2V motors have a sound all their own? I guess I could describe the sound of my log head motor as typical of most six cylinders. The old car has a glass pack on it just as I got it. Kind of sounds like a tractor in high gear.
