My 1100 is finally running great when warmed up, but rough as a cobb when cold. She sputters, blows smoke and will not idle until warm, then she is fine. Any help appreciated.
Also, I have a terrible looking vacuum setup. My vacuum line screws into the carb and the vacuum canister. It is mostly metal with a section of rubber in the middle. While it works, it is bent like crazy and looks like something pulled out of the trash. I would like to go to a rubber line, but wonder what type of fitting I need to adapt the screw to a push on type nipple fitting on the carb and the dizzy. How are you guys doing this and how are you routing the line (in front of the valve cover, behind or over the top)?
