Not familiar with that carb, so someone else can answer better than me. The usual questions... is the heat percolating the gas out (check by looking in the carb after you shut it off, if you see any gas dribbling down the throat), your float could be too high doing the same and causing a siphoning effect, are all your gaskets tight, nuts and screws tight??

The fuel is going into the engine. The most common cause is a plugged air bleed which allows the fuel to siphon out the booster. (when air stops going by the booster fast enough to suck the fuel up the emulsion tube and down the booster leg into the airstream, it's supposed to drain back into the bowl)

hmm, how to make it clearer.....picture a siphon hose in a gas tank with a pinhole at the highest point. If you suck hard enough you'll get gas, but as soon as you stock sucking or creating enough flow, the air coming in the pinhole allows the gas to run back into the tank. Now if the factory "pinhole" is plugged then the gas keeps pouring out until the tank (or bowl) is dry.

You just rebuilt it so it should be clean....notice I said "should" and not "is"? Take the airfilter off and run the engine. When you shut it off, look down the carb throat, you will see gas dripping out of the booster.

Unless....something is warped and is an actual physical defect. I tried to rebuild a 4300 autolight one time that the body warped extremely bad because someone used a nut and wrench instead of a wing nut and finger when installing the breather. Having Popeye turn the little screws on the carb can cause warpage too.

OK
To answere the first reply, all of the screws and bolts are tight, and I did set the float as per the instructions and everything there seems fine,

And for the second it is dark and only about 17 degres here and I have a Chevy in the garage (yes another project underway!) LOL But i will take a look at what you asked me to tommarow first thing! First I will have to give it a little gas through the throat first to get it started  But then I will check it! If that is the case, what is the resolution to the matter?

Thanks in advance
